All right, y'all. If you haven't read my other post on the static, go ahead and check it out here.
This thread is to give primary requirements and expectations and for those who are interested to post their interest and availability.
What is expected, in no particular order:
Current base DPS near 1800 DPS. This is not a hard requirement as different encounters effect different DPS roles in different ways, but your current sustained DPS should be at 1800. This is mostly just to give us an idea of your knowledge of your class and this isn't an overly unrealistic expectation at this point with gear where it should be.
Be on time and punctual. This means that when you commit to a raid time of 7:30 PM, you are online and ready for an invite before that time. While things happen and you might run late, we need to be ready to go and enter the raid at the start time to maximize the time we have. Since we aren't a hardcore raiding guild that will raid 20+ hours a week during progression, we need to maximize the time we have.
Use food. During progression, we won't have the benefits of the echo, so we'll need the edges in DPS and survivability and what not. Using food will help us in this area.
Keep on top of your gear outside of the raid. This means that you will also need to keep up with the newest tome gear and make sure that you are setting yourself up for the best chance of success while we aren't raiding.
Be melded. This goes along with the previous expectation. While we're still not sure of what materia grades we'll have, we need to make sure that we keep our melds as up-to-date as possible. Yes, this includes in gear you are planning to replace with raid gear.
Be willing receive instruction or critiques. While raiding, there should only be one person making call outs. Having multiple people calling things out clutters the voice channel and causes confusion. Comments and conversation are fine, we like to have fun, but during an important part of a pull, we need to focus on the job at hand.
Be sure that this is something you really want to do. Since this will be a static, we'll be counting on people in the static to remain committed to it so that we can ensure that we're progressing as a whole. We would rather not have to search for a pug or a new member and have to backtrack. So we want to try to start with the set group.
With that said, if you are interested and think you can handle these few bullet points, please reply below with the following information:
Main Job for Stormblood raiding
Secondary Job
Available Days and Times
Willingness to be considered an alternate if not chosen for the static
So, as mentioned in the initial thread, we have more people in the FC than we do spots for the static. So, please, if you aren't selected for the static, don't be too upset. We're simply trying to get the best composite group together to give the FC as a whole a chance to progress. We do fully intend to eventually bring other members of the FC along to get clears in the harder content once we have it on farm.
Also, we will still be recruiting to be able to fill a second raid group that could either be a static, or a free-for-all, first-come-first-serve group.
